I'm a product designer and front-of-the-frontend developer based in Pittsburgh, with more than a decade of experience crafting thoughtful, user-centered digital experiences.

What I Love

• Designing web apps: I thrive on solving complex UX challenges and building interfaces that feel intuitive and human.
• Building design systems: Creating systems that bring consistency, scalability, and accessibility to teams and products is deeply satisfying work.
• Developing brands: Few things compare to a well-executed logo redesign and a cohesive brand identity that just clicks.
• Exploring AI-assisted development: Using AI tools to prototype and build faster has opened up new ways to bridge the gap between design and code. I'm excited about where it's headed.
• Collaborating across teams: Some of my best work has come from close partnership with designers, developers, product managers, and clients who all care about getting it right.

What I Do

I'm currently the design lead at GivingData, a platform that serves over 99,000 users and 200 foundations, facilitating more than 29,000 grant payments worth $4.9 billion in 2024 alone. At that scale, the stakes for getting the experience right are real.

My work spans product design, design system development, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver a seamless experience across the platform. Designing at this scale has reinforced something I believe deeply: great solutions need to be flexible enough to grow with the people who use them.

Outside of Work

When I'm not designing, you can usually find me hiking a new trail, cooking (I'm on a perpetual quest to perfect my dumpling pleating technique), practicing Spanish, diving deeper into Mandarin, or being supervised by a small and very opinionated collection of cats.
