I’m a product designer and front-of-the-frontend developer with over a decade of experience creating thoughtful, user-centered digital experiences.

What I Love

• Designing web apps: I thrive on solving complex UX challenges and crafting intuitive interfaces.
• Building design systems: I enjoy creating systems that ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility across teams and projects.
• Developing brands: Few things are as satisfying as a well-executed logo redesign and a cohesive brand identity.
• Writing scalable CSS: Clean, maintainable code that brings designs to life is one of my favorite things to write.
• Collaborating across teams: I love working with diverse groups—designers, developers, product managers, and clients—to bring ideas to life and create solutions that truly meet user needs.

What I Do

I’m currently the design lead at GivingData, where I design products, build and maintain the company’s design system, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless user experience.

Our platform serves over 99,000 users and 165 foundations, facilitating more than 29,000 grant payments worth $4.9 billion in 2024 alone.

Designing at this scale has taught me the importance of crafting flexible, user-centered solutions that grow with the product and its users.

Outside of Work

When I’m not designing, you can usually find me:

• Hiking: Exploring new trails and reconnecting with nature.
• Cooking: Perfecting the art of pleating homemade dumplings—equal parts craft and comfort food.
• Learning new languages: Practicing Spanish and diving into Chinese, always looking for new cultural connections.
• Hanging out with my cats: My husband and I share our home with a small, mischievous army of lovable feline companions.
